chalk line installations

The wall drawing develops longstanding concerns with the processes of repetition and inversion, proportional ratios, arithmetical progressions and extended duration, while treating ephemerality as an underpinning to the condensed activity of the installations. Works on paper and various sheet materials, particularly photographic papers, employed in Polaroid processing invoke markings that manifest as exposures of vibrations, recording the instantaneous condition of a snapped line.
